Horsing around

Last week in Kronenburg, I realized that I should have maybe been a vet - or taking care of animals in a zoo or someting - instead of writing programs for cars or trying to teach English! We spent a glorious afternoon in Doitsu mura where I fed and petted animals to my heart's content. I think the best part was being with B.D. (well - apart from the archery section where I loved twanging my bow and hitting my mark mostly - even though it was my first time ever!) - a majestic chestnut horse with the most gentle of manners, the loveliest of manes and a friendly heart. I'm sure B.D.'s keeper would never have seen such an ardent worshipper of this horse like me before!
