Picture this in your head - a lovely expanse of grey blue sea, soft, brown sands crumbling under your feet as waves crowned with white crests race each other to the shore to touch you first. The rising sun, casting it's golden glory all around for you to savour, the busy harbour in the distance with gigantic ships that seem like but toys in the distance. Fishermen returning from their early morning harvest with nets full of sea creatures too numerous to describe here. The smell of the salt in the air, the caress of the sandy breeze in your hair, the gentle sea and the golden sun all add up to the perfect moments one can ask for every morning of his or her life! Watch as everyday people make their way to Sunday Mass at a quiet, serene wayside church. Admire the flight of the eagles across a clear blue sky or watch peacocks strutting about, showing of their emerald and sapphire finery.
Somehow, you feel content to just be there. It feels great to just stretch your limbs, breathe in fresh air and open up your soul to let some sunshine in! And when you are reading this post and feeling - "Wow! I wish I was there", I am wishing that you were here too......
